The Restaurant

As soon as the corn crop was harvested in the fall of 1989 the farm machines broke ground for our restaurant and sugar house. (Sugar house #5)  Using only equipment from the farm and all family members and close friends of the family the doors opened March 9, 1990 and ever since, we have been serving our scratch made food to hundreds of people a day during the maple sugaring season. Our building is unique with the dining room overlooking our maple sugar making operation and with our large evaporator room for you to tour while you wait for your table to be ready. You can get up close and observe real maple syrup being made as well as see all the history around you. The Davenports have been making maple sugar here at the farm for over 100 years and they love to share it with you.
